"Here comes your … info" Lorem Ipsum: What It Is and How to Replace It

If a website shows lines like "Here comes your privacy policy info... Lorem ipsum" or "Here comes your disclaimer info...", you are looking at an unfinished website template. Those sentences are the theme's default placeholder text, left in place because nobody replaced them with real content.

Where this placeholder text comes from

Many ready-made website templates and themes ship with sample pages and footer widgets for the standard sections every site needs: privacy policy, disclaimer, terms of service (TOS), about and contact. Instead of leaving them blank, the template fills each one with a short instruction followed by lorem ipsum, for example:

The wording is a note to the site owner, meaning "put your real privacy policy here". When a site goes live without that step, the note becomes public and search engines index it on every page that uses the template.

What does "Here comes your privacy policy info... Lorem ipsum" mean?

It is default placeholder text from a website template. The template author left a note ("here comes your privacy policy info") followed by lorem ipsum filler, expecting the site owner to replace it with a real privacy policy.

Is it a virus or a hacked site?
